Appreciation

Next week I return to Verbier to teach skiing over the busy winter holidays. After that, I've scheduled surgery for a total knee replacement, so I’m skiing for me while I can.

Knowing this may be my last backcountry ski or the last time I ski a favorite trail this season has heightened my appreciation of where I’m at and what I’m doing both on and off skis

Years ago, Hannah and I had dinner with a couple who shared their commitment to make everydayadate. That’s become our commitment and our internet password. After my appreciation of this week, I’m adding a personal commitment to enjoy #everydaylikeitwasyourlast.
